The role will be responsible for formulating the partnership strategies and leading the process of strategy development including insights development, business opportunities identification and strategic plans execution.Business Development and Strategy
Undertake regular strategic review and provide recommendations on mid to long-term strategies on existing partners with an aim to take the partnerships to the next level
Develop partnership strategies to drive product propositions and product mix to grow the partnership
Develop market insights, analyze business drivers and feasibility of new strategic initiatives
Identify new strategic opportunities to further diversify distribution channels and product portfolio
Identify new growth engines beyond existing core business, including capturing new segment through new operating model
Develop strategic business case and robust execution plans for new strategic initiatives
Work closely and communicate effectively with key stakeholders and strategic partners in the development and execution of business strategy
Lead cross-functional teams to identify key risks and issues across potential strategies and support the development of risk mitigation solutions
Build capability of PD Strategy Team
Lead the Strategy team to understand the strategic framework and to improve effectiveness
Lead and participate in assigned projects to enhance the capability of the Strategy team
Support departmental and ad-hoc assignments
Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field
Minimum 10 years of experience in insurance or banking industry with at least 3 years in managerial role on Partnership Distribution
Experience in Partnership management is preferred
Strong business acumen, strategic/ entrepreneurial thinking
Strong capabilities and experience in project management and /or execution
Good team player and demonstrate good communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Strong ability to work independently, self -motivated and strong drive for results
Excellent command of English and Chinese (written and spoken)
