Job purpose
Reporting to the Chief Agency Officer Asia, this role is designed to support and execute key regional agency strategic initiatives across Asia, with a focus on developing and implementing innovative agency models that are client-focused and scalable. The position will work closely with the Chief Agency Officer to drive the transformation of the agency channel, supporting the company's Asia ambition while developing the skills and experience necessary to potentially succeed in the Chief Agency Officer role in the future.
Major accountabilities
Support distribution excellence and local BU agency teams in the development and implementation of future-ready agency models, initiatives, programs and tools focusing on enhancing client and advisor/ leaders’ experience through digital platforms and tools.
Assist and provide thought leadership to RO and local functional teams in developing and executing agency playbooks covering distribution models, training, product and compensation, recruitment practices, and customer experience
Manage and analyze agency performance dashboards, providing insights and recommendations to improve efficiency and ROI across Business Units.
Lead specific regional agency taskforce projects, applying best practices to support Business Units in agency governance, structure, and processes.
Collaborate on the development of digital agency channel platforms, focusing on improving agent and client experiences.
Specialized knowledge
• Deep understanding of agency models, pain points, and strategic levers
• Strong digital skills and knowledge of advisor and client ecosystems
• Proficiency in data analytics and performance metrics for agency channels
• Knowledge of agency compensation structures and contracts

Education and experience
University degree in Business, Finance, or related field
• over 10 years of experience in agency distribution management within the insurance industry
• Proven track record in implementing digital tools and platforms for agency channels
• Experience in driving change initiatives within distribution networks
• Strong leadership and project management skills
Communication scope
• Regular interaction with Business Unit agency teams across Asia
• Collaboration with regional teams including Strategy & Enablement, Products, Finance, and Technology
• Participation in monthly/quarterly business reviews and planning sessions
