Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Finance professional overseeing expense business planning processes and driving strategic initiatives. The position requires extensive experience in financial analysis, strategic planning, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Management: Lead the month-end and quarter-end expense management and analysis process (including expense allocation) to deliver accurate and timely expense management reports to key stakeholders and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements

• Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead annual Expense Budget & Expense Study and drive annual Business Plan, Strategic Plan and quarterly forecast processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives

• Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis and modeling to support business initiatives and assess performance

• Performance Monitoring: Monitor financial performance against targets and provide actionable insights to management

• Cross Department Collaboration: Act as Business Partner and collaborate across different business functions to drive strategic initiatives and provide guidance on financial matters. Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on strategic initiatives and resource allocation

• Reporting and Presentations: Prepare management reports and presentations for executive management, summarizing key trends, issues and strategic recommendations

• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements within Expense Reporting and Analysis team and implement best practices; perform ad hoc projects where appropriate

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field, qualified accountant (CPA) or equivalent

• 10+ years of experience in business planning or financial analysis, experience in Insurance industry is highly preferred

• Minimum 3 years in a managerial position

• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills

• Excellent stakeholders’ management, communication and presentation skills

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)

• Collaborative team player, independent and able to make decisions

• Strong coaching skills to lead Expense Management and Analysis team
