Take overall responsibility in post-sales services including policy administration, claims adjudication and all related business processes and projects in the Group Administration and Medical Division. Manage the team to provide quality services and achieve production target whilst maintain business quality in terms of underwriting profits.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the post sales services e.g. policy administration, renewals and claims adjudication and credit management in an efficient manner for individual medical, group medical and group life insurance products underwritten and/or managed by PGHK.
- Assist the Director of Claims Servicing in developing and transforming the medical /group business and optimizing the efficiency of operation. Support group product development and managing agency support services like training, client visits and the like.
- Establish Administrative policy, claims policy and credit management policy for business underwritten and/or managed by PGHK and oversees their implementation to ensure quality services delivery and achievement of profitability targets.
- Manage, motivate and develop the team in achieving team performance and at the same time facilitating their personal career development.
- Manage and enhance the workflow, system development and provider services including outsourcing, medical networks, hospitals, assistance services providers and the like.
- Participate and contribute in cross team project to promote overall development.
- Stay close to regulatory changes & market news and work ahead of those changes with constructive preventive measures, options and solutions.
- Bring data and analytics to life to help the operation improve and optimize the decision-making and organizational performance.
Job Requirements:
- Degree holder or Registered Nurse.
- 9-12 years of experience in individual medical, group medical and group life insurance industry with exposure and management in underwriting, policy administration, claims, projects and operational vendor management.
- At least 5 years of supervisory or management experience.
- Experience in nursing practice in hospital setting and/or exposure in agency environment is an advantage.
- Familiar with insurance market trends, industrial rules and practices.
- Possess leadership quality with ability to manage, motivate, guide and influence the team.
- Enjoys meeting and interacting with people in particular intermediaries for relationship building and keeping abreast of the market development.
- Willing to change and excel.
