Job Summary

As a Standard Chartered Priority Private Relationship Manager, you'll be responsible for managing and developing relationships with high-profile clients to drive business growth and meet the bank's strategic objectives. You'll provide exceptional customer service with the provision of financial solutions while managing operational risk and regulatory requirements.

About Wealth and Retail Banking

Wealth and Retail Banking (WRB) serves more than 11 million clients in many of the world’s fastest-growing markets. Our client continuum spans from Mass Retail to Affluent, including high-net worth clients served by our Private Bank. We leverage digital banking channels with a human touch to provide clients with differentiated products and services such as deposits, payments, financing, wealth management and personalised advice. We also support small business clients with their business banking needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct professional, consultative financial analysis and profiling with customers to meet their financial goals.
  • Foster and deepen customer relationships by providing regular market updates, portfolio reviews riding on our banks’ different financial solutions
  • Work closely with the Branch Manager / Team Heads and create monthly plans to achieve and exceed sales targets, meeting new business and customer acquisition goals.
  • Provide proactive follow up services with existing customers
  • Acquire new-to-bank customers and grow the relationship portfolios by converting potential referral leads from both internal & external counterparts
  • Strictly adhere to KYC/AML and other compliance requirements by our bank & related regulators

Skills and Experience

  • Degree Holder preferred
  • Solid years of relationship management and business development experience within banking industry
  • Currently obtained relevant Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examination (IIQE) papers and Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institution (HKSI) Papers
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, relationship building and analytical skills
  • Ability to learn new products and knowledge quickly
  • Excellent in time management, prioritization & ability to multi-tasking
  • In-depth understanding of financial products and sensitive to market trends and benchmarking
  • Work in a flexible and agile way according to bank’s directions
  • Proficiency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese (Written & Verbal)
