The Opportunity

Position Responsibilities:

  • Closely partnership with senior agency leaders, field management, internal and external business partners

  • Drive company initiatives and results through agency manager training, district development programs, promotion projects, and custom made projects.

  • Proactively develop communications with stakeholders to translate learning needs into objectives, contents, learning activities and designs of training programs

  • Monitor, implement and maintain high training effectiveness to meet with stakeholders’ expectations

  • Initiate training plans and follow through the execution based on business needs

  • Ensure learning sustainability, help teams and individuals apply learning after training is delivered

  • Constantly and proactively participate in and contribute to management issues including training strategy, people development and resources planning that meet our priorities

  • Formulate and lead agency district development programs with the objectives to drive sales and grow the agency force

  • Work closely to the team head to manage the team operation including but not limited to budgeting planning, training plans, manpower allocation, reporting and administration 

  • Assist team head to plan, organize & direct resources to implement & formulate training strategies to address company’s and agencies’ short-term to long-term business goals 

  • Develop digital tools and solutions to leverage training effectiveness in agency manager training programs, district development projects and other ad hoc tasks

Required Qualifications:

  • University graduate with training and insurance professional qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience

  • Insurance sales experience preferable

  • Solid experience in Agency Manager Training and development

  • Good training sense and techniques in terms of course development, design and evaluation

  • Ambitious on training and development

  • Willingness on new initiatives

  • Work Independently to handle training projects / tasks

  • Strong business and market sense

  • Willing to adopt changes

  • Good presentation, facilitation and interpersonal skills

  • Effective time management, negotiation and influencing skills

  • Good analytical skills, strategic mindset, attentive to details, problem solving, as well as communication skills

  • Mature, self-driven with strong sense of responsibility and positive working attitude

  • Experience in Mainland China is preferred

  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese

  • Fluent in speaking Putonghua is an advantage
