Manulife is looking for this position to support the development and ongoing maintenance of Health, Wealth, and Life Protection products, as well as sales campaigns. This role will also be involved in supporting other initiatives related to the Health, Wealth, and Life Protection product lines.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end development and implementation of customer-centric marketing materials, including but not limited to product brochures, leaflets, and sales collateral, to support product and services launches/revamps.
Serve as the Team Lead for Proposition Marketing, overseeing resource and capacity planning to ensure quality and timely delivery of Customer Proposition deliverables.
Provide quality assurance and guidance to the team, ensuring all deliverables meet the expected quality and consistency standards.
Represent Proposition Marketing in cross-functional projects with Product, Legal & Compliance, and Channels teams. Review current processes to improve efficiency.
Understand customer needs with market intelligence and conduct desktop or tailored competitive research to identify customer pain points and new business opportunities.
Collaborate with the Product, Distribution, and other cross-functional teams to initiate new ideas and innovation for proposition development, creating sales stories and tools with unique value propositions that meet the needs of target customer segments and stand out from market competitors.
Independently drive and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project deliverables; Manage costs within budget; Track and drive adoption of sales tools by distribution channels and customers.
Challenge the status quo and continuously review of proposition materials in supporting distribution needs, as well as improvement on customer pre-sales journey to meet customers’ needs.
Assist in Strategic projects and other duties as required.
Required Qualifications:
Degree holder, preferably in marketing, business, journalism or related disciplines, with at least 10 years or above of relevant experience, candidate with less experience will be considered for Senior Manager role
Good understanding of insurance products (including Life, Health and Savings), customers’ needs and regulatory environment
Insurance product development / insurance sales / training experience will be an advantage
Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
Good project management, problem solving and communication skills
A collaborative team member with excellent communication skill to work with cross-functional teams and manage internal stakeholders and external vendors
