About the Role

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Gather business requirements and perform system analysis and design for applications to jointly develop, enhance and maintain an effective application system with team members;
• Provide work estimation for proposed system changes and contribute to developing the feasibility study with business justifications for system development projects;
• Ensure all IT projects and service requests are implemented with proper test results, sign off, technical documentation and IT Standard/ Guidelines and change management control are adhered to;
• Supervise the team and enhance their technical skills through training;
• Manage system documentation and review deliverables of team members to ensure quality of performance;
• Handle system integration test and co-ordinate the user acceptance test and implementation;
• Provide user training and support to users to ensure effectiveness of the operational system;
• Preform technical risk assessments and information security assessments;
• Conduct technical security assessment on IT and digital initiatives and projects;
• Promptly advise business users and supervisor(s) on the use of Information Technology with constructive technical solutions.

Job Requirements:

• University degree in Computer Science or related disciplines;
• Minimum 7 years’ working experience in Client Server, Internet application development and maintenance in which the last 3 years are at supervisory level;
• Proficient in System design and programming tools such as using IIS, SQL Server, Crystal Report, ASP.Net, HTML5, Java Script, JQuery, Ajax,  C#, LINQ, Responsive Web Design, MVC model, Swift, Kotlin and  etc.;
• Experience in Google Analytics, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Blockchain, Chatbot and Artificial Intelligence an advantage;
• Familiar with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC);
• Sound experience in database design and administration;
• Experience in Insurance business highly preferred.
• Excellent leadership, presentation and project management skills;
• Customer-oriented with the ability to motivate the team;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
