The Job:
Lead a team to support the overall strategic planning, sales performance, compensation scheme, P&L, CRE and Pay-roll management of Direct Business
Analyse and evaluate business performance, conduct financial forecast and budget, identify opportunities and threats, recommend action plans, and conduct monthly review with senior management
Work closely with Finance team to ensure each KPIs in the P&L are fulfilled and to optimize the revenue and expenses to achieve the desirable IRR for the business model
Create informative, actionable, and regular reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement
Prepare monthly performance and strategy deck for senior management, Direct Sales compensation review and P&L management
Formulate the business plan with necessary data analysis for senior management review
Translate business idea into a sound financial model and provide business proposal for senior management decision
Implement compensation scheme for direct business channels from end to end
Support salary & compensation calculation for Direct Telemarketing sales
Support sales incentive arrangement
Adopt controls and governance on sales performance data, and financial & risk assessment on campaigns
Define and create business datamarts/datasets, measures, KPIs and dashboards to empower data analytic capability across functional teams
The Person:
University graduate major in Finance, Actuarial Science, Statistic, or related disciplines
Big 4 or actuarial consulting experience also considered
10+ years of related solid experience in Insurance or Financial Services
Expertise in life insurance with good knowledge of business and products
Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to build camaraderie across levels and business functions
Result oriented, able to manage expectation, work under tight deadlines and manage competing priorities
Strong business acumen with ability to communicate complex concepts and results in a clear, concise, and easy to understand manner
Excellent proficiency in MS Office (Excel, VBA, Access), SQL, Python and PI tools
Able to work in an evolving and dynamic environment
Fluency in verbal and written English communications
