As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll plan and conduct research, design and development on a wide range of projects. The assignments are broad, requiring originality and ingenuity, and there’ll be opportunities to lead projects. You’ll play a key role in solving problems and making sound design recommendations for our customers. 

As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for: 

  • Delivering engineering and scientific efforts related to the design of new products and services and new designs for customer projects
  • Applying necessary design tools, policies and procedures to complete designs of customer products or systems
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary Engineering and Manufacturing teams to design and execute best mechanical solutions for customers
  • Delivering of projects through the design, verification, production and, if required, commercialization stages
  • Using Mechanical principals of pressure sensing components in a wide range of Aerospace applications.

Fuel your passion 

To be successful in this role you will: 

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Related Field
  • Have a good understanding of Mechanical Engineering and its application in designing machinery and equipment
  • Have Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering knowledge or equivalent professional experience
  • Demonstrate a good technical and mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn and improve knowledge and skills.
  • Have experience with ASME B16.34 and PED, 3D design (preferable Solid works/Ansys), mechanical design & tech writing.
