About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a FICC Electronic Sales specialist at an Analyst level based in London to cover the EMEA region. This candidate will sit in the eSales team and partner with fellow global team members, FICC Sales and Trading teams to help support and grow the EEMEA FICC client electronic trading business.

This candidate will be key member of a team managing all parts of external interfaces including client/venue connections and client relationships around eFX trading as well as ensuring support of client platform connectivity throughout the eFX trading day. This will include connecting with and maintaining relationships with multi-dealer platforms, client marketing and eTrading issue management.

In this role, you will:

  • Work closely with global teams to maintain/improve overall client experience/FICC trading system performance
  • Review and analyze complex business and operational objectives that require in-depth evaluation
  • Complete work in accordance with all risk management, compliance and business process expectations
  • Make decisions requiring solid understanding of policies, procedures and compliance requirements
  • Conduct due diligence and portfolio administration as necessary and provide in-depth research on relevant industry trends
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level to more experienced managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Ensure business and technology impacts related to market structure changes are coordinated and communicated across each line of business
  • Ensure strategic Macro technology infrastructure aligns across all of Wells Fargo Securities lines of business that engage in electronic trading
  • Work closely with 3rd party electronic vendors to resolve production issues as well as system enhancements
  • Drive Electronic Trading Services priorities, escalation and support partner accountability
  • Provide technical and business support to internal stakeholders
  • Validation/testing of new products/trading tools prior to release to production
  • Drive technological and operational enhancements that prioritize business and client needs
  • Effectively relay eFICC related issues to clients, platforms, sales, and trading
  • Increase eClient engagement via strong communication skills
  • Assist integrations of new ECN channels and client connectivity
  • Be a part of a global team
  • Strong interest in technology and finance demonstrated through experience or extracurricular activities.
  • Academic excellence with a proven track record
  • Fluency in English
  • Final-year undergraduate (graduating June 2025)

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in Securities Sales, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • Experience developing presentation and spreadsheet materials.
  • Energetic self-starter who is flexible, organized, conscientious, proactive, and detail oriented.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic, initiative, and desire to learn.
  • Enjoy working collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and to communicate effectively internally and externally.
  • Knowledge of a Programming language such as Python is a plus.
  • Detail Oriented and ability to perform and articulate data analysis.
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • High personal accountability and urgency in achieving goals.

Job Expectations:

This position is deemed to be a Certified Person function under the FCA and PRA Certification Regime. You must at all times remain fit and proper to perform your role, and this will be assessed on at least an annual basis.
