The Healthcare Coverage team provides sector specialised coverage expertise within Origination & Advisory (O&A). The team delivers the most appropriate products across advisory, capital markets and risk management to both the C-Suite and Treasurer of clients operating in the sector in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and around the world.

You will be responsible for coordinating and assisting in origination and execution of Mergers and Acquisitions, Leverage Finance and Equity Capital Markets transactions.

Your key responsibilities

  • Supporting senior bankers in the coverage effort of key accounts across Healthcare
  • Overseeing and conducting sector and company research, quantitative analysis, company valuation, credit analysis and financial modelling
  • Taking an active and productive role in live projects, developing an understanding of our clients businesses and taking responsibility to communicate with clients, other advisers and senior investment bankers
  • Overseeing and preparing complex financial analysis and models and supporting the preparation of client presentations and pitches
  • Helping to develop and mentor staff in the team

Your skills and experience

  • Relevant Healthcare Corporate Finance experience most importantly in advisory but with knowledge of capital market products
  • Proven execution skills, complex deal understanding and structuring capabilities in Mergers & Acquisition
  • Strong analytical approach combined with creative problem-solving abilities with high levels of initiative and ingenuity, high proactivity levels and drive
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously
  • Able to drive and influence senior, cross-functional and cross-regional deal teams, interfacing with multiple business partners across business lines and regions
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills and the ability to work effectively in teams
