Red Hat is looking for a high caliber, experienced, and motivated Business Strategy Consultant to join us in London, UK. The Business Strategy Consultant possesses business acumen, strategic thinking, strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to launch and scale co-created solutions with strategic significance and high exposure. You will engage with strategic partners; such as GSIs, SIs, ISVs, and others, to construct and bring to market highly differentiated, scalable, flexible, and resilient solutions that accelerate our ability to innovate and address our joint business customers' needs problems. As a trusted customer advocate, you will work to understand business customers’ needs and provide guidance and best practices on how to leverage the Ecosystem partnerships and Red Hat technologies to solve problems with innovative solutions. You have the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and a proven track record of driving business growth. The ability to connect technology with measurable business value and help customers solve problems is critical to this role. You will work with a matrix team to engage with the Ecosystem Partners up to C-level.
What you will do:
Cross-functional collaboration: work closely with key stakeholders and teams across product, sales, marketing and partner ecosystem to develop outstanding partnerships both internally and externally, as well as go to market strategies resulting in sales of joint partner and Red Hat solutions
Collaborate with Ecosystem Partner Managers both globally and regionally, as well as marketing teams to drive and execute the go to market strategy developed with the Partners
Guide end-to-end cooperation with Business Units, Products and Technologies, Regional Partner Alliances, Global Marketing, Solutions Architect, and Red Hat Services teams
Engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders, to articulate opportunities that provide quantifiable outcomes and measurable progress
Market analysis: Conduct analysis of market trends, customer challenges, technologies to formulate and implement robust business development strategies that align with our global vision
Identify and prioritize co-created solutions and content to drive high impact and measurable outcomes
Help foster a positive team culture: share best practices, both at a regional and global level
What you will bring:
5 years of experience in Partner/Go-to-Market Ecosystem in a strategic role (sales or operations)
Experience creating and executing multi-partner solutions
Understanding of Partner Ecosystems with the ability to create and grow positive partner relationships through successful development, implementation and execution of a business planning process
Self starter who can take initiative and can deliver on deadlines with minimal supervision
Strategic thinker with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value
RH product portfolio knowledge and value proposition is an advantage
Experience to engage decision makers at all levels, including senior level executives
Deep understanding of current market and its trends/opportunities
Experience working with cross-functional teams, both at the Global and Regional level
Highly collaborative
Proven ability to work in a highly adaptive and agile environment
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent negotiation skills
Masters or Bachelors degree is an advantage
