Job Description:

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced customer-focused and enthusiastic Asset/Stock Control engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to our Client at their London office location.

You will be part of a wider IT support team with your day-to-day activity predominantly being focussed on the E2E IT Asset Lifecycle and management of the onsite IT Hardware stockroom, while offering exceptional customer service.

You will have good written and spoken communication, hold a genuine interest in Hardware Inventory Management & End User Support, be a diligent administrator and well-organised. 

This is a full-time on-site permanent position working 37.5-hours per week, Monday - Friday 09:00 – 17:00.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supports the E2E asset lifecycle management activities by using specific hardware IT asset management tools
  • Accountable for Asset data accuracy and its improvement
  • Manage spare stock to agreed thresholds
  • Participates in IT asset audits and process improvement projects
  • Ensures all KPI/SLA/Metrics are met as per the agreed contract schedule
  • Supports client ITAM implementation activities
  • ServiceNow queue ticket management of assigned tickets ensuring appropriate updates and call management to maintain Service levels as per contract
  • Highlight potential issues with service/potential service improvements to their Team Leader
  • Follow any agreed processes and procedures either from the Authority or DXC

Requirements:

  • Knowledge on Hardware Asset management processes and practices
  • Working knowledge of IT asset management Tools such as ServiceNow
  • Advanced User of Microsoft Access & Excel
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good communication skills (written & oral)
  • Experience working in a corporate environment
  • Due to the customer requirements successful applicants must be eligible for Security clearance
