Job Title: Finance Business Partner

Location: Remote working with up to one day per week in London Office

Type: Permanent, Full - time (37.5 hrs per week)

Processing over £101 billion worth of premium and claims transactions today, we are building a new digital platform and services that will enable our customers to move transactions and money through the processing lifecycle with greater efficiency and speed, releasing time to drive innovation and focus on higher value activities.

Job Overview

Financial Business Partners actively influence day to day decisions, shaping strategy and the direction of the client facing portfolio/subregion/region.  They are the interface or ‘translator’ of business events to financial outcomes, commercially aware, understanding and anticipating the needs of both operations and management.  Responsible for close, budget, forecast, variance analysis, reporting and presenting the 'story' at reviews for the contract/portfolio financial performance with valuable insights for risk mitigation and opportunity optimization, to deliver to targets. Expected to ensure financial compliance across portfolios through collaboration with Controllership and GRA, in addition to working closely with Pricing and Collections on commercial matters.

Essential Job Functions:
• Collaborate with business unit leaders to support the development and execution of financial strategies that align with their specific objectives.• Conduct financial analysis, assess data accuracy, and provide insightful recommendations to business unit leaders to aid in their decision-making processes.• Assist in the preparation and review of budgets and forecasts, ensuring that they are realistic, achievable, and in line with corporate goals.• Monitor and report on the financial performance of assigned business units, identifying areas of improvement and providing actionable recommendations.• Generate and deliver regular financial reports, highlighting key financial indicators and trends, and communicating these findings to business unit leaders.• Evaluate operational costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization.• Translate complex financial data into clear, understandable insights and recommendations for business unit leaders.• Work closely with colleagues in finance and other departments to ensure that financial strategies are well-integrated with overall company objectives.Basic Qualifications: Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and experience• Typically, 7+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role in finance, accounting, or a related field• Proven experience in financial analysis, strategic planning, and business partnership• Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and financial software• A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technologyOther Qualifications:
• An advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is a plus• Relevant certifications such as CPA, CFA, or CMA are a plus
