The Risk function is responsible Group-wide for managing and controlling all credit, market, liquidity, model and operational risks. The task of the Risk function is to strengthen and protect the Bank's resources, integrity and reputation. The Office of the CRO (OCRO) team within the CRO function coordinates and organises various senior risk committees with high visibility and plays a key role in adherence to and development of related governance processes.

Your key responsibilities
Facilitation of key internal risk committee meetings (including preparing an agenda, collecting, reviewing and distributing documents, minuting, monitoring follow-ups, sending documents to auditors, regulators, etc.) allowing interaction with and visibility to the CRO Leadership Team
Supporting further development of risk governance and monitoring of governance requirements, in particular relating to committees and other fora
Facilitating submission of topics and documents from CRO to the Management Board. Coordination and handling of various ad-hoc inquiries from all areas and hierarchies of risk management or from external parties (e.g. inquiries from regulators, auditors or risk functions)
Providing solution-oriented advice to colleagues on governance issues, especially with regard to committees and other governance fora
Ownership of the internally and externally used overview-type presentation of the CRO function
Corporate reporting on CRO organisational set-up (e.g. in the Annual Report, Group Recovery Plan, etc), and description of the committee / governance structures of the CRO function in policies, frameworks and other documents
Your skills and experience
Proven practical experience in banking infrastructure processes, preferably in risk management
Very good communication skills and the proven ability to build and establish relationships
Good fundamental understanding of risk and capital management, as well as fundamental knowledge of the internal and external structural requirements for risk management
Very good knowledge of all Office applications, especially PowerPoint & Word coupled with a focus on detail and accuracy
Ability to independently organize and track deliverable timelines for several topics at the same time
Fluent oral and written English. German language skills would be beneficial but are not essential
