If this sounds like you, we want to talk! We’re hiring Graduate Trainees to join Reuters Events, a fast-growing conferencing and events business within Reuters.

Reuters Events deliver world-class conferences and content across the globe, and work with industry leaders and visionaries to provide the critical intelligence senior level executives need to make strategic decisions.

Established in 1990 as FCBI, Reuters Events was acquired by Thomson Reuters in 2019. We deliver world-class conferences and content across the globe, and work with industry leaders and visionaries to provide the critical intelligence that senior level executives need to make strategic decisions.

This is a six month fixed-term contract, with multiple spaces available.

Please note that we are aiming for two intakes:

- One with an Autumn (September/October) start date.

About the Role

As a Graduate Trainee here at Reuters Events, you will:

  • Get involved in researching, producing, marketing and selling our events (you’ll have a ‘seat’ in each role for a period of time, depending on business need).

  • Speak to senior executives on the phone regarding a range of topics including speaking at our events, attending our events, and research feedback or ideas for future events.

  • Gain a solid grounding in hot business issues and help develop marketing campaigns.

  • Some administration and support will be required, working as a team to deliver great products to our range of global customers.

About You

You’re a fit for the role of Graduate Trainee if you:

  • Have an interest in how world events can impact different industries.

  • Enjoy collaborating as part of a team and taking responsibility for your own work.

  • Thrive in a fast-paced, supportive, high-growth environment.

  • Enjoy communicating with others and are comfortable speaking with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Like the idea of identifying new and interesting business trends and spotting where we can develop great events that senior businesspeople can’t afford to miss.

  • To clarify, you don’t need to have experience in conferences (or events!). We look for people who have done interesting things with their time, who want to grow and develop, rather than those who just have good qualifications.

Closing date for applications is 11.59pm on the 30th April 2025.

We will be holding an assessment day at our office in Canary Wharf on Thursday 22nd May.
