We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Controlling Officer to join our finance team on an international context.  The Controlling officer plans, forecasts, reports and challenges financial KPIs and their main drivers in close collaboration with the business, and co-ordinates improvement measures. In this role you will be a key contact of the top management on all financial and operational performance topics. You will support strategic financial planning and analysis. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the implementation of controlling processes and ensuring compliance with controlling-relevant standards.

You will  •    Contribute to financial targets definition and monitoring within the strategic and operational planning and forecasting process (long-, mid- and short-term perspective) •    Create, analyze and present financial statements, reports and dashboards for senior management and strategic stakeholders (ad-hoc, monthly, quarterly, and yearly base) •    Ensure accuracy and compliance with IFRS and Allianz standards •    Collaborate with cross-functional teams including commercials, risk officers, HR and operations •    Ensure strategic alignment and operational reporting with the Allianz Trade headquarter and the 7 regional controlling teams from Americas, EMEA to APAC •    Build up a 3-year plan from commercial targets down to financial result •    Monitor actuals vs. plan, analyze deviations and their drivers for a global scope on 4 different areas: Commercial Controlling, Financial Controlling including OPEX, HR controlling and Risk Controlling •    Identify and implement opportunities of efficiency within the controlling department covering guidelines, processes and systems •    Actively contribute to the design and adaptation of target operating model related to the continuous evolution of our IT landscape

Your skills •    Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting and related field or top tier business or engineer school; CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred •    Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial controlling reporting, accounting. An experience in an audit firm is appreciated •    Can-do attitude, ability to anticipate and to identify opportunities and solution •    Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment •    Able to analyze high detailed data with rigor and precision while synthesizing key insights to provide the big picture for teams and management, leveraging financial figures to craft compelling narratives •    Fluent in English, French is desirable •    Ability to collaborate in an international environment •    Analytical thinking, methodological and conceptual as well as moderation and presentation techniques •    VBA, automation and/or PowerBi skills would be a nice to have
