Join Deutsche Bank Structured Rates and Transactions team in Paris as a VP.

This is a unique opportunity to bring an experienced structurer onto the platform to help continue to grow the business. The ideal candidate would be a self-starter and business builder that interact with salespeople, traders, and clients on a variety of rates business, including derivative optimization, treasury financing, and municipal transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Support rates transactions with Client types, such as Insurance Companies, Pension Funds, Asset Managers between Banks and Corporates & SSA.
  • Support coverage with the production of content, ideas, marketing, in negociations with external clients but also direct client interactions.
  • Review the applicable Regulatory context for transactions, either on the client side or the internal DB side, for optimization of the solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory bodies, as well as follow DB internal policies for internal review and approvals for transactions.
  • Assist trading in pricing and documenting complex transactions.

Skills

  • Previous relevant experience in Rates products, preferred including derivative pricing.
  • Successful candidates will have a strong rates technical background with experience in leading and closing Client transactions.
  • Practical knowledge of market regulations and documentation.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with internal and external clients.
  • A strong growth mindset, with experience originating business and expanding an existing client base.
  • The ideal candidate will be both a problem solver who is able to use their knowledge to find constructive solutions and a client-facing person able to support coverage in direct engagement.
