The Agile Coach and Project Lead at Allianz Trade is instrumental in advancing the organization’s Agile evolution and fostering an agile culture. This entails leading Agile adoption and scaling initiatives, coaching teams and leaders to embrace Agile practices, and cultivating a collaborative and adaptive Agile environment. Additionally, the Agile Coach and Project Lead will oversee or drive the implementation of a new agile evolution projects, operating model across all functions, driving alignment and sustainable change throughout the business.

Key responsabilities

1. Agile Knowledge Sharing and Advocacy

  • Serve as an ambassador for Agile principles and practices across the organization.
  • Design and deliver tailored Agile training programs aligned with Allianz Trade’s Agile framework.
  • Contribute to organizational learning platforms to promote Agile knowledge sharing.
  • Develop and implement procedures to effectively share Agile expertise across the organization.

2. Driving Agile Evolution

  • Design, lead and support Agile transformation initiatives at team, functional, and organizational levels.
  • Ensure adherence to Agile principles, practices, and processes within the organization.
  • Monitor Agile maturity, identify gaps, and implement improvements to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Define and track KPIs, providing progress updates to senior leadership and C-level stakeholders.
  • Apply change management strategies to support Agile adoption and evolution.

3. Building and Supporting Effective Teams

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, workshops, and team retrospectives to promote continuous learning.
  • Observe team activities and provide guidance to ensure alignment with Agile principles.
  • Support cross-team coordination to improve operational efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot team challenges while offering solutions and guidance.
  • Provide progress reports that offer a comprehensive view of team performance.

4. Continuous Improvement

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement through the application of Agile principles in daily practices.
  • Coach teams towards independence, adaptability, and high performance.
  • Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions to provide personalized feedback and insights.
  • Celebrate team achievements and proactively address challenges.
  • Monitor team performance and Agile maturity to ensure the consistent application of Agile practices.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the region and functions to strengthen Agile practices.
  • Contribute to Agile excellence center services and related communities.
  • Facilitate workshops and ceremonies for Agile artifacts and large-scale events.
  • Ensure compliance with audit, regulatory, and organizational guidelines.

Required qualifications and skills

  • Strong expertise in Agile concepts, frameworks (Scrum, Kanban), tools, and ceremonies, with significant experience in large-scale environments.
  • Proven leadership capabilities and adept at engaging with senior stakeholders and skilled in coaching and influencing stakeholders at all levels, from developers to C-suite executives.
  • Strong facilitation, training, and leadership skills, with a history of successfully leading impactful workshops.
  • Exceptional decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good strategic understanding with transformation and organizational design know how
  • Familiarity with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and X-Ray, with preferred experience in dashboard creation and testing methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Very good Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Agile mindset / team player
