Key responsibilities

The Finance Product Owner (PO) has a key role in the transformation process of Allianz Partners (AzP). It has the end to end responsibility towards the Finance & PIM Global Function. The PO acts as a main interface globally between the Finance & Provider Invoice Management (PIM) function and Allianz Technology in charge to provide IT services. The PO needs to ensure the consistency of the Finance & PIM activities through the system but also maintaining the quality of the delivery during the phase of development and post delivery in Production. This role will also be responsible to support all BUs on the target platform in defect management, client escalation resolution and other run activities as defined by the Finance delivery manager.  

As a PO, you are in charge of the following:  

  • You are responsible for the Finance & PIM platforms. Working with the Finance delivery manager, you will define the annual plan for continuous improvements to the Finance & PIM functionalities on the target platform and drive defect resolution in a timely and effective manner. You will work closely with BUs to ensure that business needs are addressed in a timely manner while balancing priorities across all BUs for maximum efficiency of implementation.
  • Supporting the Finance Delivery manager, you will drive process improvement through the target systems, both cross systems and cross LoB. The PO supports the strategy of AzP which relies on the implementation of the target platform to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • You are responsible of the quality during each release to the target platform in close collaboration with key stakeholders, including pre-release quality, prioritization of epics/ requirements by release to support the quarterly business review and annual plans and complete process validation cross Lob. 
  • Manage defect resolution and post implementation. This will include management of the backlog to ensure defects are appropriately prioritized and planned within the quarterly business reviews for implementation. In this capacity, you will complete a sanity check of the status of each features delivered, control the delivery of a functional description and follow up on the proper usage of the functionality post release.
  • Support the resolution of ad hoc issues as defined by the Finance Delivery manager.
  • Provide visibility of Finance & PIM features in the course of target platform (ACM) transformation program, including:   - Creation of the list of features delivered in the course of release and do the mapping with functional processes cross-LOB for all target platform implementations. - Supporting the Finance Delivery manager in term of delivery for Quarterly Business Review meetings, Steerco meetings based on past releases. - Prioritization & quarter roadmap planning.

What you bring  

  • 2 years minimum of experience working with Agile methodology.

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in business needs gathering and analysis.

  • Strong customer orientation and ability to design processes from both customer & functional perspectives.

  • Experience in change management (e.g providing trainings, building training materials etc).

  • Ability to interact with senior level management.

  • Experience in conducting functional workshops.

  • Good level of English - both spoken and written.

  • Any Agile/Project management related certification is a plus
