Job Description:
We are seeking a truly and dynamic leader responsible for developing innovative services by creating strategic partnerships and new business models. The Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) is focus on developing and implementing new business strategies, identifying market opportunities, and fostering a culture of innovation. The candidate will design scalable solutions that address societal and environmental challenges while shaping value propositions that transcend industries.
This role reports directly to the Managing Director of DXC France and is an executive team member. The CIO collaborates with other executives, monitors industry trends, and leads cross-functional teams to execute innovation projects.
Role Purpose
The purpose of the Chief Innovation Officer role is to drive the organization's innovation agenda by developing and implementing cutting-edge business strategies. This involves identifying new market opportunities and fostering a culture of innovation throughout the company.
The CIO collaborates with other executives to integrate new technologies and processes, monitors industry trends, and leads cross-functional teams to answer RFP and execute projects.
The Chief innovation officer oversees and implements changes in approaches, methods and processes to enhance competitiveness and improve organizational efficiencies. He/she champions the role of innovation by aligning overall business strategy with innovative thinking.
The CIO also secures funding for new initiatives, fostering a culture of creativity, and ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals and reports on innovation metrics and outcomes.
A key part of the mission will be to guide our company progressively towards new business models, fostering a collective commitment to innovation and transformation. This includes pivoting and embarking the organization step-by-step toward future-oriented businesses and services, ensuring a sustainable and impactful evolution.
Chief Innovation Officer main tasks
Innovation for DXC France
Fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the organization, encouraging the development of groundbreaking solutions to complex challenges.
Leading cross-functional teams to develop and executing innovation projects
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implementing new technologies, methodologies, and best practices.
Creating an innovation portfolio and roadmap to drive growth and spur investment
Evaluating and balancing risk/reward for innovation and organizational objectives
Championing change management and adapting innovative interventions within the company, as required.

Demonstrated exceptional ability to lead, inspire and engage a diverse team of professionals across the organization
Strong listening skills, allowing them to understand and address the needs of customers, teams, and stakeholders effectively and also be able to challenge the status quo
Visionary thinker who can balance strategic foresight with practical execution, driving the company toward a future defined by groundbreaking services and meaningful growth
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
Ability to drive change, manage complex projects and negotiate complex deals, manage relationships at the C-level, and navigate high-stakes scenarios with diplomacy
Knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends in France and outside France, with a deep understanding of market dynamics
Experience in innovation management
Highly proficient at project planning, budgeting, and oversight.

Profile
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Innovation Management, or a related field
A minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior management role, preferably in a technology-driven industry.
