Are you passionate about shaping the future of labor relations? We are looking for a dynamic and innovative Labor Relations Leader to join our team in France. In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of developing and deploying cutting-edge labor relations strategies that align with our long-term goals and objectives.

As our Labor Relations Leader, you will:

  • Identify and analyze labor relations trends to drive the development of groundbreaking principles and ideas.

  • Navigate complex environments, focusing on France and other European countries as needed.

  • Collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including Country HR Managers, HR Business Partners, and Legal teams, to ensure seamless integration and execution of our labor relations strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Role Responsibilities in France and across European Countries, as required on Labor Relations:

  • Development and execution of the Country / Business Labor Relations Strategy & Plan in alignment with the Global Labor Relations strategy and priorities.

  • Effectively manages the relationship with Works Councils, Unions, and other employee representative bodies as appropriate, including Labor Relations dispute management, in line with the Labor Relations Strategy and Plan.

  • Development and management of an internal landscape map, information and consultation, and rules of engagement (incl. timelines) covering key programs, and the negotiation calendar.

  • Leads required information and consultation processes or negotiations as appropriate according to Country regulations and CBAs, in alignment with the Labor Relations strategy and Plan.

  • Provides Labor Relations leadership support and consultation to senior leaders, People teams and other key stakeholders on Labor Relations matters, as required. In particular, in the enablement of: change programs, business flexibility, restructuring, OD&S activity, location strategy, transactions (mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, strategic outsourcing), driving a high-performance culture, etc.

  • Contributes to the development, delivery and implementation of the Labor Relations policies, programs, audits and governance models.

  • Partners the Global Labor Relations Leader to drive effectiveness and efficiencies across the pillar i.e. build knowledge/capability, simplification, IP capture etc.

  • Predictive and pro-active management of the Labor Relations landscape i.e. Monitoring external Labor Relations landscape to assist our business navigate the environment and ensuring the on-going evolution of the Labor Relations pillar.

  • Responsible for identifying and delivering training and development, as required.

  • Responsible for keeping abreast of all relevant internal policies, local labor laws and industry practices.

  • Partners and supports our HR Compliance function in France in the delivery of our Global HR Compliance priorities as required, and in partnership with Legal and HR teams as required.

  • Partners local HR/Legal, Global Employee Relations and Integrity Council, as required on Employee Relations matters.

Who are you?

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Labor Relations, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.

  • 10+ years of work experience, preferably in employee relations, HR compliance, labor relations, employment & labor law, or a related field.

  • Work experience in a matrix organization would be a preference.

  • Fluency in French and in English.
