The Global Business Optimisation team has a simple mission: we turn massive amounts of data into actionable insights that drive business value. Our analytic consultants and data analysts work with Visa’s clients, partners, and staff to improve portfolio performance, program profitability, and cardholder experiences. By coupling in-depth analysis of cardholder behaviour with Visa’s world-class products, digital offerings, and marketing capabilities, we ensure our clients’ programs operate at their peak potential and that cardholders have seamless commerce experiences in both the physical and digital world.
As part of the Client Services organisation, this role will take ownership of this vision and deliver with excellence for our organisation and our clients. The successful candidate will use strong big data and analytical skills, contextual business sense, and a creative flair to solve real-world business challenges for Visa issuing banks, acquirers, merchants, and processors. In addition, your analytic expertise will directly impact the strategic direction of the organisation and how we deliver value from our data assets.
The successful candidate will be a key member in Global Business Optimisation, within Client Services, supporting all aspects of improving and optimising payment success, including but not exclusive to authentication and authorisation. Responsible for building and deploying a single source of truth on insights, facts, and reporting related to the Visa Europe Regions payment processing.

A genuine passion for the payments ecosystem. 4+ years of working experience in a corporate environment. Visa experience or knowledge of the payments industry is an advantage. A good working knowledge of analytics methodologies, confident reading and understanding data analysis. Knowledge of SQL, Tableau, automation and other big data skills is necessary Strong proficiency in Microsoft applications such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word required. Confidence working in a high pace and dynamic environment, following several work streams at the same time. Experience working in an insight delivery environment with a proven record of creating business value from data. Excellent presentation and communication skills. Proactive, curious, problem solver with experience of being a self-starter and has a willingness to learn. Flexible, adaptable and able to think quickly. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills are required. Fluency in English is required while knowledge of an additional European language is an advantage. Excellent spoken and written command of English. Knowledge of additional European language(s) is an advantage.
