Job Description:

Workday Senior HCM Consultant

The Workday Senior HCM will act independently and advise on or manage the solution configuration for large complex Workday engagements. He/she will provide subject matter expertise supporting delivery, testing and both presales and post-production engagements.The Workday Lead will be an important customer spokesperson for the DXC Workday Practice. The Lead will help create strong business cases supported by compelling value propositions and will demonstrate how customers can realize substantial value by deploying the Workday HCM solution. Could be a part of implementation team supporting Workday functional system setup, testing and Integrations or Data Migration streams.He/she will provide subject matter expertise across multiple HR domains and contribute world-class approaches to discovery, fit-gap, process design and reengineering.

The Responsibilities: 

The position involves working closely with clients and colleagues to do the following:

• Lead one or multiple functional domains.• Coordinate with consultants from offshore locations.• Organize discovery workshops across functional domains• Business analysis representing a specific area(s) of functional expertise e.g. Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Recruiting, Absence, Time tracking, etc• Work as a part of a project team to support architecture, scoping, implementation and post-production phases of the projects• Work with the Customer to identify data to be converted from legacy systems• Support the data cleaning, conversion and respective validation processes• Configure Workday according to customer requirements• Test business processes and Workday configuration• Develop and deliver customer-specific training and documentation• Work independently. Take direction and provide status to the Engagement Manager assigned to their project• Coordinate assigned deliverable schedules to ensure client's timelines are met• Contribute to business development, by Solutioning new deals and presenting solutions and offerings to prospects.

The Requirements: 

Qualified Candidates will possess the following:

• Experience in Workday HCM and Advance Compensation (one or more projects).

• Workday HCM Certified and one or more advanced certifications (Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Recruiting, Talent, Absence, Time Tracking, Benefits, etc.).• Strong consulting skills, handling customer expectations• Excellent communication skills delivering to functional and management audiences.• Practical experience gained on HCM implementation projects.• Good understanding of technical topics (reports, data migration, integrations projects).• Fluent in English and Spanish 

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

This job can be based remotely from a home office, or in either our Spain offices, and may entail travel to various client sites.   The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
