About the Job 

We are looking for a Commercial Manager to support one of the services within Workplace who will be end-to-end responsible for a variety of financial tasks as part of the daily operations to deliver a high quality service to our internal and external customers.

This role requires a good understanding of financial management concerning the P&L (costs & revenues) and standard commercial processes (procurement, billing, dispute resolutions) to deliver state-of-the-art IT Services.

What you do

  • Manage and coordinate financial processes like pricing, planning, forecasting and charging
  • Controlling of actuals vs. plan figures, analysis of deviations and their drivers as well as recommendation and execution of measures to ensure plan achievement
  • Ensure quality control over financial reporting and service related transactions - billing accuracy of both service provider costs as well as own AZ Technology invoices towards the Operating Entities
  • Support procurement and ordering processes

What you bring

  • High flexibility, quick perception, team skills, reliability, resilience and organizational talent; self-starter and self-motivated personality, disciplined, performance-driven and passionate about transforming businesses.
  • Vast knowledge of Planning and Economics, Controlling and Financial Management; IT knowledge is a plus but not required.
  • Fluent proficiency in spoken and written English; advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel); SAP and ServiceNow knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, planning and time management skills; excellent communication skills and problem-solving ability as well as being a team player.
  • Ability to build working relationships in a complex environment; able to think outside the box. Demonstrate Allianz competencies, including functional, technical, methodological and social skills.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Controlling or other commercial areas such as Procurement, Finance, or Pricing.
  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
