About The Role

As a Tribe Technical Lead for the Quote and Buy tribe at Allianz Partners ACM Target Platform Europe, you will have the opportunity to lead the delivery and operations of target solutions for all insurance related line of businesses globally such as travel insurance, ticketing, banking partners, mobile devices and digital risk protection (MDDR). This covers the central ACM B2B2C target platform, which supports B2C, B2B, B2B2C channels and has been rolled out in over 14 countries in Europe as well as eCommerce services globally in more than 60 countries.

The Insurance Line of Business is based on an agile product organization consisting of four Tribes, covering the entire insurance value chain with international, cross-functional agile squads. 

What you do

As a Technical Tribe Lead, you will be a pivotal part of an international cross-functional agile team with end-to-end ownership for various business applications. Your role will be crucial in contributing to world-wide rollouts and ensuring stable solutions for Allianz Partners. You will lead efforts towards product harmonization and simplification by embracing digitalization and automation at scale.

  • Budget Management: Manage the budget for change and run activities, ensuring adherence to IT budget plans. Oversee the Change Budget according to agreed priorities from Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR).
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop the Tribe vision, strategy, and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). Prepare and maintain Quarterly Business Review (QBR) memos. Ensure planning within Quarterly Business Review Cycles and yearly planning on Planning Dialogue level.
  • Agile Co-Leadership: Co-lead the agile tribe from Allianz Technology and shape the backlog and prioritize technical/non-functional deliverables.
  • Continuous Improvement & Technical Roadmap: Drive continuous improvement initiatives and manage the technical roadmap and technical debt, as well as enable tech synchronization across shared tech platforms within the Tribe.
  • Stakeholder Management: Maintain relationships with business counterparts and Business Tribe Leads. Strengthen Line of Business alignment with Allianz Partners (AzP) and build strong relationships.
  • Operational Efficiency: Maintain a stable and healthy platform, proactively implement new regulations into teams and systems and ensure proactive management of resolving issues according to agreed plan/timelines.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in IT management or a similar role.
  • Proven experience in agile methodologies and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong background in budget management and financial planning.
  • Experience in managing technical roadmaps.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Proficient in developing and executing business strategies.
