About the Job
The Internal IT Portfolio Manager holds comprehensive responsibility for shaping and managing IT demands for Allianz Technology across all locations. This role ensures transparency in demand, costs, efficiency improvements, coming i.e. from simplification/consolidation of the portfolio and decommissioning of the non-target services, while providing continuous feedback on IT services on behalf of Allianz Technology. You will serve as the primary liaison between Allianz Technology locations and functions, and the service teams and finance.
What you do
- Definition of the target IT portfolio services, transition roadmaps and decommissioning efforts of non-target services,
- Manage the portfolio scope across the entire value chain, including planning, service portfolio management, pricing, and ensuring compliance with consumed services.
- Facilitate the conversion of customer requirements (e.g., evaluate and select requested tools or services, increase/reduce volumes, etc) into actionable steps for product delivery, aligning financial account plans, and ensuring their revision and tracking.
- Develop and implement cost management and control processes for the portfolio/services to benefit customers (i.e., Allianz Technology locations) and the services.
- Offer stakeholders guidance and advice with accurate financial information to efficiently manage the portfolio/services and identify financial opportunities (e.g., contract consolidation, decommissioning of redundant tools).
- Lead planning, cost management, monthly reviews, cost control, yearly price calculations, monthly billing, invoice payment, and initiate ordering for related portfolio/service(s).
- Manage contractual agreements between Allianz Technology SE, the customer, and respective vendors for the portfolio/service(s) in scope.
- Collaborate with technical and delivery experts of respective services to ensure accurate pricing, reliable forecasting, and compliance across the entire value chain.
What you bring
- Strong business acumen and financial knowledge, preferably in Service Management, including understanding of relevant processes, services, and their lifecycles.
- Experience in budget management and cost-effective planning and design; experience working in an international environment is advantageous.
- Experience in process and project management experience, ITIL training or certification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (especially Excel), ServiceNow, and SAP (FI-CO/BW).
- Ability to work independently in dynamic, non-standardized environments; strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze factual information.
- Fluent in English with the ability to explain complex subjects clearly.
- Higher education degree with a technical-economic focus, such as industrial engineering, or equivalent work experience (7+ years).
