ServiceNow HRSD Technical Lead
In this role, you will be a member of the global ServiceNow (HR) team, collaborating closely with the HR Operations, IT and ServiceNow platform in implementing the global HR ServiceNow roadmap, supporting the HR demand from all the countries in scope and working on different projects with stakeholders from all regions in the world. As a Technical Lead for our ServiceNow HRSD team, you will use your knowledge and experience in ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD) platform to optimize our HR operations and help driving business results.
You will provide technology direction and significantly contribute to identifying best-fit technical solutions. You will create and implement innovative high quality solutions, ensure project implementation compliance and utilize technology research to innovate, integrate, and manage technology solutions on ServiceNow.
The job’s core deliverables will rely on delivering services to internal clients. It may involve sharing subject matter expertise to others in the organization or supporting others in their efforts to deliver on our promise.
Your role
As ServiceNow HRSD Lead your main responsibilities will involve
- Provide technical direction and mentorship to our developers, functional team and different stakeholders, be able to translate business requirements into technical solutions with a business analyst mindset
- Recommend best practice technical design, components, models and deliverables
- Work in projects through discovery, design, build, test, and deployment activities together with several other teams across the regions
- Respond to production support issues, bring technical expertise helping the support team to solve complex issues
- Identify opportunities for automation and streamlining
- Monitor and improve the performance, scalability, and security of existing HRSD solutions
- Design and support integration solutions between ServiceNow and other HR applications
- Stay current with ServiceNow releases, features, and best practices, analyze and investigate new ServiceNow features/releases and potential implementation into the Zurich context, with an OTB philosophy
- Work closely with the platform architects to design solutions for HR and ensure stability of the HRSD solutions
- Coordinate handling of data requests/defects/change requests with IT partners
- Configure, manage and monitor HR Services, permissions, security segregation
- Develop and maintain technical documentation
Your Skills and Experience
As a ServiceNow HRSD Technical Lead your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), preferably with IT/HRIS background
- 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow implementations and optimizations
- 3+ years of experience working as ServiceNow Developer
- 3+ years of experience in the delivery and implementation of ServiceNow HRSD core module(s)
- 2+ years’ experience implementing Portal solutions (widgets, catalog, knowledge base, etc.)
- Experience with Agile methodology and driving offshore developers in an Agile context would be a plus
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations
- Technical skills Coding with Web Technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON, XML) would be a plus
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
- Service oriented working style and team player attitude, including the ability to work well under pressure
- Good analytical skills, attention to details and great level or professionalism
