About the Job

The Regional Head of Security Operations is responsible for overseeing and managing all security operations within the Iberolatam region. This role involves implementing Allianz security policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the safety and security of the organization's assets. It requires strong leadership, strategic planning and crisis management skills.

What you do

Direct regional security operations strategy and execution, overseeing daily operations to protect company assets and ensure compliance with corporate standards.
Manage and respond to security incidents, coordinating with relevant teams to mitigate threats and conducting vulnerability assessments to address weaknesses.
Lead and train a team of security professionals in operational procedures and incident response, ensuring effective deployment and maintenance of security solutions.
Monitor security systems and technologies for optimal performance and readiness, overseeing IAM operations for secure access controls.
Implement and manage application security measures to protect software and systems, providing regular reporting on security operations to key stakeholders.
Manage regional security operations budget and resource allocation, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Coordinate with teams to enhance security measures and maintain a robust security posture across the region.

What you bring

Extensive experience in security operations.
Experience in IT roles such as system administration, network administration, or similar.
In-depth knowledge of the key industry standards, tools and best practices related to security operations.
Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies effectively.
Security certifications will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of AWS cloud services and security practices.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
