A vacancy for a Software Developer / Architect for embedded real time software (d/m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The successful applicant will join “ Tornado Embedded RTS Development ”.

Job Description:

In Tornado Embedded RTS Development we contribute  to develop, to design, to test, to qualify, to certify, to support, to improve sub-system, equipment, component or module during the whole implementation phase (including responsibility for integration, verification and validation) by writing the adequate technical documents (specifications, failure mode analysis, functional descriptions, sizing documents, stress analysis, test analysis,….)

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:- Analysis of subsystem requirements and capture of software high-level requirements for Tornado Avionics computer - Adaption of software top-level architecture - Software design activiites and capture of low-level requirements for software coponents - Coding, integration and verification of software components, including verification result documentation - Software / Hardware integration - Development and documentation according DO-178 (Level C)

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

- completed diploma/master's degree in information technology or a comparable field of study- extensive engineering experience, especially in the areas of Design to Requirements, Subsystem/Equipment/Component/Module Development, System Engineering Standards and Collaborative Design for Manufacturing- Language skills: English business fluent
