In this role you have the opportunity to:
write your master’s thesis in the field of X-ray system development after completing a three-month working student position. As part of an agile team of software and hardware engineers, you will be able to enhance your skills in digital electronics and actively contribute to the further development of embedded software systems.
Your role:
Writing a master’s thesis in a high-tech environment.
Developing model-based and classical embedded software at a professional level.
Implementing an end-to-end data analysis pipeline: from data acquisition and preprocessing to storing condensed performance indicators in an embedded system.
Modifying existing digital electronics: overseeing the entire process from circuit design to laboratory testing.
Optimizing X-ray components: contributing to the improvement of performance and maintainability of modern X-ray components for medical imaging systems. Your work will make a significant contribution to the circular economy of X-ray systems.
Great, if you have the following:
1. You are currently pursuing a master’s degree with a technical background, such as a bachelor's in computer science, technical informatics, or a related field.
2. You have experience in embedded systems software development using C/C++, including debugging and testing.
3. You are familiar with designing electronic circuits, including simulation, schematics, and PCB design (e.g., using SPICE, KiCad, Eagle).
4. You enjoy working in a lab, are self-organized, and have strong communication skills, along with good English and German proficiency.
5. You are available for at least one year.
