  • Assisting Sales and Client Partners in validating opportunities and guiding the go/no-go decision-making process.
  • Providing feedback on competitive positioning and contributing to the definition of win themes.
  • Understanding client business goals and aligning DXC solutions to fit into their architectural framework.
  • Analyzing complex business problems and commercial frameworks to propose systematic, well-rounded solutions.
  • Staying informed on industry trends and leveraging them to inform target solutions.
  • Offering technical insights into DXC’s Solution Themes and Offerings for both existing and new clients.
  • Providing technical assistance by identifying customer needs and translating them into effective solutions.
  • Collaborating with offering teams to refine services and adapt to evolving market demands.
  • Acting as an industry expert, providing guidance and sharing best practices with clients and internal teams.
  • Supporting sales activities by creating compelling proposals and presenting solutions.
  • Leading presales technical and functional support, delivering impactful presentations and demonstrations.
  • Influencing stakeholders across the board, from clients to partners and internal teams.
  • Mentoring and coaching team members, contributing to a culture of growth and continuous improvement.

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (Master's degree in business, computer science, IT, or related fields is a plus).
  • Proven experience in the technology industry, with a track record of managing significant accounts.
  • Expertise in solution and product portfolios, with a knack for crafting winning sales strategies.
  • Recognized accreditation in one or more Public Cloud Services (certifications required).
  • Strong background in positioning and selling Public Cloud Project and Professional Services Solutions, as well as Managed Services Solutions.
  • Excellent listening skills and the ability to translate client needs into solutions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to engage audiences at all levels.
  • Team-oriented mindset, with the ability to lead and inspire.
  • Capacity to articulate the business value of DXC solutions, understanding competitive landscapes.
  • Strong influencing skills, quickly establishing trust and becoming a thought leader.
  • Clear, concise communication skills — able to break down complex ideas for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Expertise we value: We’re seeking candidates with a strong understanding of Mainframe Services and Mainframe Modernization, particularly in Public Cloud Services, who are excited about partnering with account teams, clients, and partners to drive transformation and client success.

  • Deep expertise in IBM Z-series, z/OS, JES2/3, SDSF, and SMF.
  • Proficiency in CICS, DB2, MQ, RACF, and VSAM.
  • Experience with mainframe networking, storage, and security frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience in modernizing mainframe applications (e.g., APIs, cloud integration, DevOps).
  • Minimum of 7 years of presales experience and technical knowledge in related fields.

What do we offer?

  • Flexible working time models
