Start: As soon as possible
Duration: 6 months
At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

Compare a portfolio of different cost assessment methods
Derive concrete cost saving potentials within the A320 doors
Prepare and assess 3D design concepts for cost efficient optimizations
Analyze the content and methods of previous cost saving campaigns
Screen for various analytical methods to derive functional cost analysis
Conduct thorough cost analysis for current and future products (passenger-, cargo-, bulk cargo-, emergency exit- doors) following cost reduction modifications analysis.
Participate in internal Design to Cost campaign, generating and evaluating multiple ideas and iterations to identify the most feasible and impactful cost reduction strategies for both short and long term implementation.
Creation of concept presentation and/or design of 3D model in Catia V5, depending on pre-existing competences
Enrolled full-time student (d/f/m) in the field of aerospace, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable
Analytical way of working
Knowledge in CATIA V5 appreciated
Good language skill in German and English
Team player, communicative, autonomous way of working
