Commercial Banking Tribe

You’ll be joining the Commercial Bank Tribe, who is focusing on the special needs of the small and medium enterprise clients in Germany, a designated area for further growth and investment within Corporate Bank.

We are responsible for the digital transformation of ~800.000 clients in 3 brands, i.e. the establishment of the BizBanking platform including development of digital sales and service processes as well as the automation of processes for this client segment.

Our tribe is on a journey of an extensive digitalisation of business processes and to migrate our applications to the cloud. On that we are working jointly together with our business colleagues in an agile setup and collaborating closely with stakeholders and engineers from other areas thriving to achieve a highly automated and adoptable process and application landscape.

As a Lead Solution Architect for our Digital Servicing Tribe you will be working closely with our business units to design IT solutions for digital servicing.

Your key responsibilities

• Recommendation and development of appropriate solutions and services for E2E automation of our service processes

• Analysis of existing process, underlying system landscaped and development of plans and roadmaps based on business requirements

• Solution design of complex processes to make our services more efficient and define strategic and sustainable solutions within our IT infrastructure.

• You are working in a cross disciplined agile team with shared responsibility and high autonomy and actively engage in the engineering community, share your knowledge and build up a solid network

Your skills and experiences

• A master's degree in computer science, software engineering or MINT (ideally combined with finance or business knowledge) and several years of working experience as lead solution architect

• Profound experience in software development including in-depth knowledge and practical experience in programming languages and tools, especially Java, APIs (RESTful service), databases (relational DBs and No-SQL), CI/CD pipeline, Camunda

• Excellent knowledge of architectural concepts, especially microservice architectural paradigm, container-based and event-based application design as well as knowledge and experience of cloud environments, ideally Google Cloud Platform.

• Very good teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills (fluent written and spoken English; German is a plus).
