What’s it all about?
Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) in Europe is responsible for delivering consulting projects to clients across the region, in a wide range of payment subject areas, in support of Visa revenue targets. The European VCA team is organised around several key Service Lines and Practice Areas such as Portfolio Optimisation, Strategy, Digital and Risk. To date Portfolio Optimization (PO) accounts for approximately 35% of VCA Europe’s total business We are currently looking for a Portfolio Optimisation Manager to support the continued development of this VCA practice. This role will be client facing, based in Frankfurt to support new project sales and delivery for our team across Central Europe.

What we expect of you, day to day:
As the Portfolio Optimisation practice manager based in Frankfurt you be responsible for partnering with the rest of the local VCA team in Central Europe to deliver a strong pipeline of client engagements, delivering projects end to end. In addition to your client facing role, you will be a crucial member of our Pan Europe PO practice team and as such will connect together with the other regional leads on key European or global initiatives. • Previous consulting experience (professional services or within an internal consultancy function for a financial services / payment business) • Strong business analysis and data manipulation skills (research and analyse market and client information to tell a story) • Commercial acumen – being able to spot an opportunity and drive value for Visa and the Client • Self-starter and attention to detail • Highly organised with strong project management skills • Ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders at various levels within the business • Excellent and creative PowerPoint skills • Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal) including an ability to comprehend and convey complex technical information • Excellent report writing skills (ability to tell a simple ‘story’ involving complex issues) • Fluent in written and spoken English (additionally German would be very beneficial) • Curiosity & willingness to learn and develop as a professional • Ability to travel (up to 25% of the time across Visa EU territory)
