Job Description: 

The Foundry Incentives Finance Specialist is responsible for the accurate forecasting and program management of Incentives program: Advanced Manufacturing Investment Credit (AMIC).

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the AMIC scoping forecast, subledger booking and annual tax filing process.

  • Manage POR, LRP and Close process in partnership with the Program Lead and Capital Finance partners.

  • Continuous forecast accuracy improvement, identify opportunities for process improvement and automation not limited to grant calculation, Master asset list, SAP Book 92, etc.

  • Ensure compliance with contractual agreement key criteria and establish controls including physical inventory audits, operationalizing AMIC audit mitigation plans, maintaining AMIC documentation (educational and acumen, scoping methodology, MRC meeting minutes), and system of record.

  • Collaboration with Fixed Asset Accounting, Settlement, KPMG and Tax and Capital Finance.

This role will gain high visibility and exposure to Senior Leadership.

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and make quick decisions.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economic or related field

  • 4+ years of experience in Finance related activities

  • Advanced English level

  • Must have unrestricted- permanent right to work in Costa Rica

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Foundry finance and/or Capital finance function

  • Prior Accounting and/or Fixed Asset Accounting experience is a plus
