The Value Management Digital COE organization is looking for an outstanding Manager to lead a new (to be hired) team in Costa Rica. This is a critical role responsible for helping evolve the strategy of the existing team and establish its culture and presence in Costa Rica. This leader will play a key role in shaping the future of value selling, driving innovation, and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management:
Build and lead a high-performing team based in Costa Rica: This includes recruiting, onboarding, mentoring, coaching, and empowering team members to achieve their career goals while fostering a culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and continuous improvement. This role could also grow to look after a cross-functional group of individual contributors.
Drive strategic alignment and execution: Collaborate with leadership within the organization and with sales to define team goals, align with broader organizational objectives, and ensure successful execution of the value management strategy within the aligned book of business.
Evolve and adapt: Refine the existing value management engagement model to meet the unique needs and challenges of the Digital business, ensuring its ongoing relevance and effectiveness.
Champion value selling: Drive adoption of digital value selling tools and messaging through data-driven insights and qualitative analysis, demonstrating the impact and value of these resources to the sales organization.
Strategic Partnerships: Operate as a trusted advisor and strategic business partner to sales leaders, providing a data driven perspective on value selling adoption and surfacing ideas to support their business.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work effectively with other teams to identify, scale, and implement innovative value selling practices across the broader sales organization.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment: Cultivate a culture that values diversity, encourages open communication, and supports individual growth and development, enabling every team member to thrive and contribute their unique perspectives.
Value Selling: Consult sellers and buyers on effective use of self-serve tools & content for consistent solutions & packages, including building, iterating, and communicating business cases, to substantiate an investment in Workday’s technology.
Support Training Sessions & Content: Conduct small & large data-driven training sessions and build relevant content & messaging to support continued relevance of value selling content
Tooling Support: Support the tooling strategy by developing tooling content, recommending process improvements, & evolving the applications of the tool.
Sales Partnership: Develop a partnership with aligned sales individuals to understand the growth opportunities within their business and support their value messaging needs.

Basic Qualifications:

3+ years relevant work experience, ideally in consulting, financial or business analysis, or market research
3+ years experience leading teams, inclusive of recruiting, onboarding, and developing top talent
2+ years relevant work experience, ideally in consulting, financial or business analysis, or market research
2+ years experience leading teams, inclusive of recruiting, onboarding, and developing top talent
Deep understanding of business operations, financial metrics, and industry trends.
Proficiency in building financial models and conducting value analyses.
Ability to conduct research on companies and use benchmarking data effectively.

Ability to take initiative, work independently, and find solutions to challenges.
