Job Summary

As part of the Payment Fraud team within our Brand Security division, this role will report directly to the Fraud Prevention Manager. Our Brand Security organization delivers top-tier decision support, fostering profitable growth and exceptional shareholder value through a steadfast commitment to operational excellence, talent development, and innovation.

We provide accurate and timely financial information meeting the Company’s regulatory and fiduciary responsibilities with unwavering integrity.

The Payment Fraud Prevention Analyst applies an intermediate level of subject matter expertise to identify and resolve a range of payment fraud issues. This role includes tackling moderately complex problems, offering well-informed analyses, and contributing to project direction as a valuable team member. The analyst exercises independent judgment within established practices and procedures to determine appropriate actions, consistently adhering to guidelines and policy interpretations. This position requires evaluating unique circumstances and making sound recommendations to prevent fraud effectively.

The B2B Payment Fraud analyst will review Open invoice, credit card and Prepayment cases within our fraud prevention platform or through different communication channels utilizing Fraud Prevention tools and exercising sound judgment analysis to determine risk and identify fraudulent behavior

Qualifications: 

  • University degree or comparable proven experience desired.
  • Very Fluent English (90%+) (oral and written). Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate skills required with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other primary Office applications.
  • Ideal Candidate is a self-starter with a strong sense of initiative and the ability to think creatively to solve complex problems.
  • Proven ability to work independently while applying strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive impactful, efficient and effective results. (Strong ability to evaluate and understand complex information).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in navigating multiple applications within a fast-paced work environment
  • Capable of managing and completing multiple tasks and projects in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
  • Previous Payment Fraud experience, Chargeback management or Fraud Prevention knowledge is needed.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including overtime and weekend support as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve Subject Matter Expert of B2B Stores. (Includes tools, processes and order processing life cycle).
  • Identify and mitigate fraud trends to protect operations and the Stores we provide support to, utilizing expert-level understanding of our processes and policies
  • Address daily customer needs as the primary point of contact for escalations and team support.
  • Engage with customers as needed, to uncover fraudulent activities by asking targeted questions tailored to each scenario. Analyze customer interactions via phone or email to identify suspicious behavior and potential fraud based on their responses and actions.
  • Focus on preventing, detecting, investigating, and reporting fraudulent activities to maintain the integrity of operations. Conduct thorough investigations to uncover and address fraudulent behavior and ensure accurate and timely reporting of all fraud-related incidents.
  • Adhere to daily strategies and established processes to ensure consistent performance. Exercise sound judgment to take calculated risks that drive improvement and innovation.
