The Enterprise Architecture Services team provides the processes and tools required to design and develop Enterprise Architecture solutions in support of Intel's growth. We are looking for a highly motivated Product owner to own multiple software products at Intel, with an emphasis on SW lifecycle management, SW Technical debt management and SW license management. The SW asset mgmt. team works closely with many stakeholders across Intel to optimize SW products spends and reduce technical debt.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Management:
- Establish deep understanding of software products' capability/functionality
- Work closely with stakeholders to create product vision and roadmap
- Simplify and optimize Intel's software product landscape by eliminating redundant capabilities and streamlining processes
- Technical Debt Management:
- Manage and monitor forced uninstalls of unsupported and prohibited software products
- Trigger communications and address user opens
- License Management:
- Actively engage with vendors and end-users to perform license management and optimization related activities
- Monitor installations/software usage, license utilization monitoring and optimization
Soft Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions
- Ability to cope with frequent changes and adapt to different cultures and working styles
Qualifications:
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering and Management, Information Systems, Economics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of combined experience in the following:
- Software product ownership and data analysis.
- Software license management.
- Advanced English level.
