The Long-Term Roadmap Projections team is responsible for driving performance analysis and competitive assessment of the Intel client roadmap. We work in an exciting environment where we advise Intel leadership about IP and roadmap decisions across segments and products. You will be responsible for characterizing new workloads, use-cases and hardware. You will work with our dynamic team on some of the following:
Create new methodologies to predict performance on SOCs.
Analyze performance metrics and create models for product performance.
Examine the next generation of workloads on which our products must excel to be successful.
Contribute to the feedback our team delivers to architecture, planning and marketing teams on the performance of future products.
You will gain experience in workload characterization, hardware characterization and performance analysis on a variety of hardware and software. Our engineers typically take part in software projects focused on improving characterization and automation, involving a range of programming technologies.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Advance English
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, STEM or related field
3+ years of experience in system simulation, modeling, validation or Debug in technology industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
Coursework in Computer Architecture, High Performance Computing, Graphics Architecture.
3+ years of experience with:
Performance monitoring tools, such as VTune, GPA, or other performance optimization tools.
Optimizing code for performance.
C, C++, Python or statistics languages like R.
Graphics architecture or GPU programming.
Client, Server or IOT Performance and Power.
Work Model for this Role
