As part of the Business-to-Consumer Fraud team, this role will report directly to the Fraud Prevention Manager. Brand Security organization provides world-class decision support driving profitable growth and exceptional Shareholder value through our commitment to operational excellence, people development, and innovation.

We provide accurate and timely financial information meeting the Company’s regulatory and fiduciary responsibilities with unwavering integrity.

This is a leadership role within the Americas Business to Consumer Team (B2C Team), with primary focus on fraud investigations. Data Mining Analyst will mitigate risk and loss to HP by investigating and monitoring existing and potential fraudulent situations within HP financial payment transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced data analysis using fraud detection and analytical tools to uncover potential payment fraud, applying specialized expertise in data mining, pattern recognition and risk management.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for Fraud Analysts and HP Business Unit partners, providing support and guidance on suspected payment fraud cases.
  • Prepares timely, thorough, and concise written reports of investigation results to Senior Management, DSRA and Fraud Analysts
  • Make sure effective communication is established between the Data Mining team, the DSRA members, the B2C analysts, Operations and Management as needed to identify, prevent and respond to fraud trends and attacks as detected.

Qualifications

  • University degree or comparable proven experience desired.
  • Very Fluent English (90%+) (oral and written).
  • Broad knowledge of end-to-end order flow.
  • Desired knowledge in dealing and engaging with shipping carriers to reroute fraud packages.
  • Intermediate skills required with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other primary Office applications.
  • Ideal Candidate is a self-starter with a strong sense of initiative and the ability to think creatively to solve complex problems.
  • Proven ability to work independently while applying strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive impactful, efficient and effective results.
  • Perform within high stress situations and respond with sense of urgency.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including overtime and weekend support as required.
