As an Intel Flex software engineer, you will have opportunity to move between projects in various product groups to gain experience, learning new skills and growing your cross organization professional network while making high-value contributions across the company. Projects that align with your skills and your areas of growing interest will be prioritized. The qualified candidate will join Intel Flex Costa Rica as a System Software Engineering Student and will have opportunities to participate in a variety of projects as part of product development or research. The main focus of this position will be on system-level software development, in areas such as Cloud Solutions, OS kernel, firmware development, network/graphics, I/O driver development, imaging/media development, machine learning, computer vision and many others.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships and/or work experience.Minimum QualificationsActive advanced student of Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field. Must be a senior student, and available to maintain the status of active student during the final year of the University program.1+ year of academic experience in the following:-C/C++ programming, data structures, algorithms and operating systems-Version control and continuous integration tools (GIT, GITHUB, SVN, etc)-Advanced English Level-Candidate must have unrestricted permanent right to work in Costa RicaPreferred Qualifications:-Python or Java skills-SW Testing/Verification experience-Embedded systems, microcontrollers and-RTOS Kernels, multi-threading programming, memory and resource management.-CPU architecture.-Hardware low-level components such as I/O's, interrupts, network communication protocols.-FPGA, (System)Verilog/VHDL, OpenCL or RTL Design
Work Model for this Role
