About the Role

You will partner closely with the program sponsor, business leads and technology teams in defining and executing medium to large, cross-functional programs focused on organization effectiveness and efficiencies aligned with Workday’s scale.

Additionally, you will plan, develop, and deliver written internal communications.

As a member of multiple project teams, you will create and deliver communication and engagement strategies for some of the most impactful projects for Support and our customers. This is where your skill in simplifying complex and technical content will come in handy. 

We are looking for a program manager who understands the value of structure while balancing the need for agility and innovation within that framework.  Leveraging program management best practices, this role will identify and manage scope, dependencies, drive timeline alignment, risk management, health and status reporting and driving on time delivery of outcomes and deliverables.

Responsibilities 

  • Lead Support program team or work-streams. Includes creating cohesive program plans and milestones.

  • Lead collaboration across cross-functional Global Support subject matter experts and delivery leads to identify, design, prioritize, and provide oversight to development and implementation of tools and supporting processes.

  • Monitor and report progress against program objectives and goals

  • Represent Global Support program priorities and progress to influence and enable corporate initiative.

  • Establish quantified business impact goals and measurement models to provide insight, track progress, and inform operations and conceptual planning.

  • Develop and execute on internal communications plan.

  • Identify risks and issues and execute on plans to mitigate or prevent.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent copy-writing and editing skills as well as strong digital content creation skills.

  • Experience communicating to a broad employee population with a talent for tailoring messages to various audiences using appropriate tone, nuance, and level of information.

  • Experience with Change Management principles and ability to provide change management strategy and execution in support of key projects.

Fluent English at a business level.

Buscamos un gerente de programas que comprenda el valor de la estructura y, al mismo tiempo, equilibre la necesidad de agilidad e innovación dentro de ese marco.  Aprovechando las mejores prácticas de gestión de programas, esta función deberá identificar y gestionar el alcance y los dependientes, impulsar la alineación de plazos, la gestión de riesgos y los informes de condición y estado. Además, deberá facilitar que los resultados y entregables se proporcionen en los plazos acordados.

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in PMO/Program Management leadership

  • 6+ years in enterprise software application support

Other Qualifications

  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and exemplary program management skills.

  • Ability to identify dependencies between complex programs/projects and determine impact.

  • Problem solver capable of translating issues into simple terms to facilitate discussion and decision.

  • Excellent organizational, presentation and communication skills

  • Effective in and experienced in managing cross functional relationships.

  • Experience or certification in organizational change management.

  • Technical writing experience with the ability to make complex ideas and processes easily understandable.

  • Proficient command of (or the commitment to quickly learn) these tools: Zoom Meetings and Events, Confluence, Smartsheet, Slack, Staffbase, Miro.

Cualificaciones básicas

  • Más de 6 años de experiencia en liderazgo de gestión de programas o PMO.
  • Más de 6 años de experiencia en soporte de aplicaciones de software empresarial.

Otras cualificaciones

  • Experiencia gestionando equipos interfuncionales y habilidades ejemplares para la gestión de programas.
  • Destreza para identificar dependencias entre programas o proyectos complejos y determinar sus impactos.
  • Capacidad para resolver problemas y traducir las cuestiones en términos sencillos para facilitar el debate y la toma de decisiones.
  • Excelentes habilidades de organización, presentación y comunicación.
  • Eficaz y con experiencia en la gestión de relaciones interfuncionales.
  • Experiencia o certificación en gestión del cambio organizativo.
  • Experiencia en redacción técnica con capacidad para hacer fácilmente comprensibles ideas y procesos complejos.

Dominio de (o con compromiso de aprender rápidamente a usar) las siguientes herramientas: Zoom Meetings and Events, Confluence, Smartsheet, Slack, Staffbase, Miro.
