This role will work in the LATAM Business Finance Center, is responsible for providing support to the FP&A designated region/function in Latam or Emerging Markets organization. This role will have support responsibilities across FP&A mainly related to monthly and quarterly financial reviews and reporting, forecast and planning cycles (including Operating Plan), ensure data integrity with all the systems and delivery analysis and requests related to assigned responsibilities.
This role requires frequent interaction with financial leadership of the FP&A designated teams, as well as the Decision Support Center of Excellence (DSCoE) and Digital Team
Operations:
- Deliver all standard and ad hoc Market Finance requests agreed upon scope and Standard Operating Procedures, utilizing financial data to deliver business insights to FP&A designated organization/ colleagues as well as Commercial, Access and Medical
- Implement and usage of Digital tools to keep simplified process
- Prepare and validate financial analysis for the assigned P&L discipline
- Support planning process through detailed analysis of key business drivers and the preparation detailed support and standard templates
- Ensure timely, efficient, and accurate flow of information for decision-making
Customer Relationships:
- Serve as key point of contact for in-market Finance colleagues across Latam or EM, FP&A and selected Business Colleagues to field requests and make sure that the business’ finance needs are met, risks/issues are solved, and quality of output is consistently delivered in accordance with service level expectations
Additional Responsibilities:
- Leading specific process within the Business Finance Center organization on innovation and solutions
- Prepare written preliminary commentary on reports and analysis
Technical Skills & Experience Requirements:
- Highly analytical
- Process-oriented with strong organization and planning skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office capabilities, particularly Excel, Power pivot, PowerPoint
- Competency with spreadsheets & financial modeling (comfort with data manipulation and financial systems)
Qualifications (i.e., preferred education, experience, attributes):
- Bachelors required. Masters Finance/Accounting is preferred.
- ~2-3 years’ of progressive experience, ideally in an in-market Finance role with direct interaction with business counterparts, responsible for reporting, analysis, planning, budgeting and forecasting
- Excellent problem solving, analytical skills, attention to detail, planning and time management skills
- Superior verbal/written communication skills (English fluency must)
