Job Summary

The Application Platform team sitting in Technology & Architecture organization are seeking Software Engineer with 8 or more years of experience to work on in-house developed application platform.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy Understand the bank’s application platform strategy and implementing automation solutions to deliver the bank’s application platform strategy.  Business This role will work alongside with our Service Bench Management team to build industry leading feature capability. Processes Understand the bank’s software delivery processes and implement solutions in line with the bank’s compliance and security requirement.   People & Talent Work collaboratively with a team of diverse engineers in sprint delivery. Produce technical documentation and prepare training materials on the solutions being delivered and provide technical support. Conduct briefing and/or training sessions to application delivery teams to help them get onboarded and accelerate adoption. Risk Management Understand bank’s risk management framework and embed that into the technology solution being delivered. Governance Understand bank’s software delivery & quality assurance framework and assist in solutioning in respective governance activity. Regulatory & Business Conduct Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.  Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct. Qualifications

Very good hands-on experience with Linux, Database, Kubernetes Very good understanding about Kubernetes resources. (e.g. Deployments, StatefulSets, ConfigMaps, secrets, RBAC, Network Policies, Ingress, etc.) Experience with CLI tools (e.g. kubectl, helm etc.) Familiar with scheduling, logging, monitoring tools(e.g. ITRS, Control-M, ELK, Grafana etc) Familiar with DevOps with exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g. ADO, Jenkins, Ansible etc) Familiar with network, load balance (e.g. F5, Nginx etc) Production environment support experience, handling and responding to production incidents. Understand ITIL concepts (e.g. Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management) English as working language.

Highly Desirable:

Experience with KNative, Hasura ITIL Framework certification Scripting with Python or Shell
