Job Description:

12 Months (Fixed-Term)

Overview:

This 12-month contractor role aims to prepare you for potential permanent roles. You'll work in Corporate Bank China team (e.g., trade finance and lending sales team or coverage banking coverage team) gaining the skills needed for a potential transition to a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Preliminary Analysis:

  • Look into transaction screening and client selection.

  • Research financials and companies, focusing on trade finance and lending.

2. Sales and Transaction Support:

  • Assist prepare sales pitches, client proposals, and presentations.

  • Track transactions to ensure they are completed on time and follow our policies.

3. Client Relationship Management:

  • Assist relationship managers and the sales team with client portfolios.

  • Answer client inquiries, set up meetings, and prepare reports.

4. Market and Data Analysis:

  • Conduct market research and analyze data to find new business opportunities and understand market trends.

  • Support regulatory reporting and compliance monitoring.

5. Regulatory Compliance:

Help address regulatory requests and ensure we follow local and international regulations.

6. Client Event Coordination:

Assist plan and coordinate client events, internal meetings, and marketing activities.

7. Administrative Support:

  • Provide administrative support to the front office, sales, and business management teams.

  • Schedule meetings, prepare reports, maintain client databases, and manage business data.

8. Staff Activity Committee (SAC) Coordination:

  • Help organize staff activities like outings, events, and the annual dinner.

  • Serve as the Staff Activity Committee coordinator.

  • Monitor and track the SAC budget.

Required skills:

  • Educational Background: bachelor’s or master’s degree holders from universities in China or abroad

  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in both written and spoken Mandarin and English

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in relevant technical skills including MS Office, relevant AI tools, and data analysis

  • Work Experience: Previous experience in similar roles or industries, preferably with multinational companies

  • Soft Skills: Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities
