Job Summary

To deliver technical solutions.  The candidate must be taking a balanced view on delivery of solutions between architecture, time, cost and quality and be able to communicate effectively to non-technical audiences and stakeholders.

• Contribute to, influence and execute the technical strategy and roadmap for their area of product responsibility, making decisions on technologies that stand the test of time
• Collaborate with the team and stakeholders to achieve successful delivery of high-quality software products
• Work with business to translate roadmap features / requirements into manageable components/tasks, estimate timings and resources, suggest solutions and identify possible risks
• Owns the development lifecycle and is responsible for managing technical risks throughout the project, Lead the delivery of solutions monitoring progress of the team against the schedule and budget
• Owns quality of work ensuring it meets the technical standards of Bank
• Manage development to align with Bank latest requests, improve the quality and speed of solution delivery

Learn new technologies and keep abreast of existing technologies and be able to apply these to a variety of projects as applicable

Qualifications

• Advanced Knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines    
• Experience with Agile / Scrum delivery methodology and related tools    
• Advanced and hands-on knowledge of programming languages and concepts (Python, Java, Golang, etc..)    
• Experience in MS .Net and ADO is a plus
• Experience with microservices, API-first, event-driven, agent-based architecture and design    
• Knowledge in DevOps – CI/CD, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), orchestration (Ansible/Salt)    
• Knowledge of different aspects of service design: including messaging protocols and behaviour, caching strategies and software design practices    
• Knowledge of infrastructure (networking, hypervisors, storage, security) on cloud   
• Experience with test automation with common test frameworks; and performance / load testing techniques at scale    
• Experience with metrics collection, time series queries, middleware such as Telegraf, and backends such as OpenTSDB or Prometheus    
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Kibana and Grafana    

• Qualifications

• Education - Bachelor’s or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.     
• Languages - English, Chinese
