Job Responsibilities/ 工作职责 :

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Database Administrator to manage and optimize our cloud-based database systems, including both relational (RDS) and NoSQL databases. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure, and a deep understanding of database management, performance tuning, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Implement Cloud Databases: Develop and maintain database structures in cloud environments, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Data Migration: Manage data migration from traditional databases to cloud-based systems.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize performance.
• Security Management: Develop and enforce database security protocols to protect sensitive data.
• Backup and Recovery: Implement and manage backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to optimize database usage and support application development.
• Troubleshooting: Perform database maintenance and troubleshooting tasks to resolve issues promptly.
• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of new technologies and advancements in cloud database management.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of database administration experience, with at least 3 years in cloud environments.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency with AWS RDS, Aurora, and DynamoDB.
  • Experience with other NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
  • Strong background in database performance tuning and query optimization.
  • Familiarity with cloud security best practices and tools.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Certifications: AWS certifications, particularly the Database Specialty certification, are highly valued.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
