Job Description: 

We are seeking a highly skilled talent to join our Global Logistics central Demand and Capacity Planning Group, which function is crucial in managing all logistics need demand forecasting and warehouse capacity planning. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced analytics like AI tools to drive strategic insights and operational efficiency while building and automating foundational databases.Key Responsibilities:Demand and Capacity Analysis: Analyze upstream demand forecasts and translate them into logistics language, assessing warehouse capacity needs. Present mid to long-range logistics demand and warehouse capacity plans, including business drivers, implications, and recommendations for capacity risk mitigation or optimization, to logistics operations leadership and stakeholders.Database Automation: Develop, automate and sustain the advanced analytical tools for demand and capacity data, ensuring accuracy and operational efficiency.Quarterly Response: Lead the quarterly response to ensure warehouse capacity plans are in place to meet the increasing volume and complexity or cost optimization challenges.Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing workload effectively in a dynamic environment. Demonstrate a high tolerance for ambiguity and adapt to changing priorities.Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with partners and stakeholders to understand business drivers and their implications for logistics. Facilitate communication and collaboration across organizational and geographic boundaries to drive successful outcomes.Analytical Support and Process Improvement: Provide ad-hoc analytical support to operations and other teams, driving process improvements and developing models to support group objectives. Utilize strong analytical, problem-solving, and data analytical skills to enhance decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a master degree in industrial engineering or supply chain related discipline.
  • Strong analytical skills including but not limited to proficiency with Excel, Power BI, SQL and Python.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, problem solving and capacity to use rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions.
  • Have the ability to operate in a highly matrix, dynamic environment, develop effective relationships for achieving key deliverables.
  • Ability to work cross-Geo with off-hours flexibility.
  • This position is 2years fixed Term.
